I was commissioned to draw a 1:100 Section through the Fife Arms for their bespoke Christmas card, collaborating with paper artist Laura K Sayers . The brief was to create a card inspired by Victorian dolls house recording the hotels wonderful interior and atmospheric interior. Laura is an artist and illustrator who creates incredible paper cut pieces to show depth and character, and her exterior elevation does just this. Recording such a building as this through paper requires patience and precision I can only doth my cap to; the videos on Laura’s account are worth watching to show the process. The drawing shows the journey across the public interior; from the snug, to the flying stag bar, to the shop, beautiful reception, drawing room and cocktail Bar beyond.
