Jaconellis in Maryhill is an art deco cafe on Maryhill Road, Glasgow. The cafe opened in 1924, and has been serving ice-cream from Mario’s recipe since then too. The rich interior has been used in films such as Trainspotting, but is retains it’s welcoming and local feeling. The section line cuts through the intimate booth seeing, and shows the main display unit, where ice cream cones are stacked, with rows of sweets behind. The adjacent counter is where a steady stream of hot fast foot is served. The section cuts through the fish tank, and into the kitchen at the rear.
