A private commission from December 2018 to draw a section through this beautiful cottage South of Edinburgh. The house was originally designed by the notable Scottish Architect Sir Basil Spence, a contemporary extension has also been added to the existing property, addressing the garden. The drawing seeks to show the juxtaposition between the warmth, and homeliness of the original house, and the openness and light of the later addition; and how both sit on landscaped site.
