The chosen space is then surveyed using digital measuring equipment, and a dimensioned sketch produced. The space is also photographed.

Using the survey sketch, the final drawing is pencilled out to a specific scale, suitable for the paper size and image size. This is then penned over using a Rotring Tikky Graphic pen, and fully inhabited. Finally watercolour is
added.
Site photographs are used to ensure tones, lighting and materials are depicted accurately.
